Unfortunately, this is how I feel EVERY month, from my PMS symptoms! Wait til you are a week over due, then tak a test.
What are some very early pregnancy signs that one may experience. I am 3 days away from a period, but I fell pregnant. I have taken 2 at home test but both were negative. I feel VERY tired, on the verge of throwing up all day, can't sleep due to discomfort in stomach and I have to pee more than normal. Did or does anyone feel this way at a early stage of pregnancy?
Thanks to all of you for your responses. I have gotten alot of great advise. I have taken another home test and it is still neg. My period is not due for several more days so I will just be patient and wait it out. I will update again for anyone who wants to know i my symtoms were pregnancy related or not! Thanks again to all of you!

Wait a few more days, and then test again. My last pregnancy test didn't come back positive until I was on day 37 of my cycle!! But, I was craving seafood really bad, and I was VERY tired. Other than that, I didn't have any other symptoms for about another week after that. (6 weeks along)
Other symptoms are peeing alot, nausea, light cramping, change in vaginal discharge, etc. Look up www.babyzone.com for more information.
My earliest signs also were peeing more than usual and feeling tired (I'm now 21 weeks pregnant). That was about a week after conception, but I was pretty sure I was pregnant 2 days after conception. Pregnancy tests can come back negative even if you are pregnant - the HCG levels may just not be high enough yet for the test to detect. Wait until your period is supposed to start, and retest (first morning pee is supposed to be best), and go see your obgyn - that's how we finally confirmed.
Good luck!

I felt the same way when I was first pregnant with my son. I had to use the restroom a lot more frequently, was constantly hungry and nauseous (not a good combination!), and felt bloated and uncomfortable. I took two tests the week before my period and they were both negative. Then after I missed my period, I took two more and they were both positive! I would just hang in there and wait until you miss or don't miss your period (some people have a period even though they are pregnant)! Good luck to you!!

Hello T.,
I remember very very sensitive/sore breasts! if you think you're pregnant, make sure get plenty of rest and eat as healthy and nutritiously as you can. later I had lots of heartburn so I drank milk of magnesia almost every day.~C.~
I didn't feel like that when I was pregnant but I did feel like that when I had a kidney infection.
I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second child, I have an almost 3yrd old little princess. I am experiencing symptoms much earlier with this pregnancy than with the first. Very tired, nausea from 10-12 every morning, heartburn from everything even water, forgetfulness and hormone surges. I actually started crying while watching Jeopardy because they announced that it was family week. Those are just a few of the normal pregnancy symptoms. Just remember every woman is different and every pregnancy is different......oh yeah & I feel like I have a UTI, especially when I wake up during the middle of the night to go to the bathroom!
Good luck, I hope you are pregnant!!!
Your breasts are sore and they tingle. That was my first sign when I had both of my children.
Sore breasts and tingly nipples were the first sign with both of my pregnancy's. Also, fatigue and being extra hungry, but that could have been because I thought I might be pregnant and that is kind of how your supposed to feel so it could have been psychological.
Tired and hungry are probably the most common at the earliest stage. I was always hungry, especially right after I turned out the light for bed. I had sore breasts and bleeding gums before I ever tested positive. I also had some mild cramping during the first trimester. My test didn't show a positive until I was about a week late. I don't think the need to pee started until a little later in the first trimester, then it went away mostly, but came back worse than ever during the 3rd trimester. Luckily I never had morning sickness but my unfortunate SIL had it from the very beginning. Wait a week or so and test again and remember that worrying about it can delay your period.
Take care of yourself and good luck.
Just curios...were u pregnant???
2 days before I took a positive test I felt like I had taken a benadryl I was so tired! I never got sick or had any pain. Just very tired.
T., When I was pregnant with my second child I was feeling tired and sick to my stomach a lot. I had signs at least 2 weeks before my period. Every kept telling me I was and I didn't want to believe them. However sometimes if you take a pregnacy test early it wont show up. Due to the hormones that show up are not enough to show on the pregnncy test. I would wait until the day you are suppose to have your period and take it. Do it first thing in the morning. That would be the best time to get the most of the hormones. I hope this helps.
It's a possibility. I know before I found out I was prego my back was aching and I had horrible heart burn (something I had never experienced before).
We were trying to get prego so I knew the exact time it happened, and those symptoms showed up about 10 days after I actually concieved.
I took a home prego test 2 days after missing my period and it was negative. I ended up going to the doctor for a sinus infection and they did a blood test 5 days after I should have started and it barely showed up then. So it is still a possibility.
For me, I had extreme fatigue. So tired I'd fall asleep in the car if I was the passenger, even on short driving trips. And I think I remember breast/nipple tenderness.
I didn't get morning sickness until later on, like in the 2nd month when the hormones were higher.
But I've also had those same symptoms and NOT been pregnant. so go figure. I know it's sooo hard to wait, but retest in a week to be sure.
test first thing in the morning (first morning urine is best because it has a higer level of HGC)
I wasn't even late, but thought I had a uterine problem because I was cramping...I took a test at my Drs urgence because the meds he was about to give me, could cause pregnancy issues and that would save a HUGE lab fee...
I took 4...all of them with the faintest of lines...and they weren't name brand either...it was the walgreens brand...
I'd try again in a couple of days...either way...see your dr if the problem persists...there may be other issues involved.
I did not experience exactly those symptoms. I had a weird, gut feeling, brushing my teeth made me gag, my boobs started growing and hurting. I did not have to pee a lot. I was only a month pregnant and the pregnancy test showed positive, so those things are pretty accurate.
everyone is different. The first thing I remember was a bladder infection.Try first response I used it and found out several days before my period.
I had this problem when I was pregnant with my daughter. I hadn't even missed my period and I started taking test. I took a good seven or eight test before I got one that said yes. I kept think I might see a slight pink line, so I gave in and bought a digital one. That is when I finally got the answer I knew in my heart was right. I too was feeling sick (all day not just in the morning) yet it felt different than being ill. The big thing was that my brest were very tender, just putting my bra own i would gringe. I also felt dizzy and tired a lot. I would tell you wait till you are late and then try again. That was hard for me. I kept taking test every two to three days. good luck and I hope God has blessed you with a child.
I had lower back pain, became terribly conjested, and the smell of markers made me nausious. That was with both pregnancies.
Usually you will not feel those signs of pregnancy until you are a little further along. You could be experiencing those signs simply because you are fixing to start. Good Luck
I was extremely, extremely tired almost immediately. No other early symptoms for me, though. The nausea didn't kick in until about 9-10 weeks. Honestly, I think they should ban early pregnancy tests.
Sore breasts were the first signs for me during both my pregnancies. The second time I found out two days before my period was due with a home pregnancy test. This was followed by fatigue, hunger and sleep. Ofcourse I was having to go pee like every hour.
Alot of people say you'll know because your breasts will be sore but if yours aren't, don't let that discourage you because mine were never sore until after I had my daughter. My only symptom was being tired all the time and occassionally nausea. The other moms gave you a good list of symptoms, my only suggestion to you is to try eating crackers. The yeast in them helps ease your morning sickness, it did for me and everyone else I know. Just plain old saltine crackers. Granted you can put toppings on them to make them taste better but they do work. Hope this helps and congrats on the possible upcoming additon!
I experienced bad gas pains in my lower left abdomen and tender breasts. I also had to pee more frequently than normal. I had never had the gas pains like that before and I only experienced that in pregnancy. When a girlfriend who had been trying to get pregnant for years and was weeks away from taking Clomid complained one night she had bad gas pains, I suggested that she was pregnant. She kind of blew me off, but a week or so later she called me back after the positive pregnancy test.
I know it's hard to wait, especially if it'sbut try to hold off a couple of days and test again. When my husband and I had been trying for a year, I tested very early and got a faint line two days in a row. Yes, I was pregnant, I was definitely experiencing symptoms, but it turns out my hormone levels were low & I later lost the pregnancy. Take heart though, after that miscarriage, I went on to get pregnant with no additional problems with fertility. In fact, my 3 children are 21 months & 22 months apart respectively.

if you think that you are pregnant, the best thing that you can do is schedule an appointment to see your Gyno. It is possible to be pregnant and have a negative test. Speaking from experience, I went through this time period where all of my friends were having babies, and i so desperatly wanted to experince the same that I had stessed myself to the point of having the same symptoms that you were describing, without actually being pregnant. I now have an 11 month old. When I found out I was pregnant, I was five weeks along and had only missed one cycle. I remember feeling tired and naucious, but no stomach pains until the about half way through the second month. The feeling like you have to pee all the time was almost instantanious for me. If you don't want to go into the doc just yet....wait a week to two weeks even if you miss your period and take another test. It could just be that you are pregnant and don't have enough of the hormone in your body to show (+) on the test. Make sure that when you test, that you do it first thing in the morning, you'll have the most concentrated amount of the preg hormone in your body at this time. Good Luck
I have been coping with severe nausea and vomiting and nothing was helpful to ease my sickness unless I started drinking no to morning sickness tea.
These could be signs (that's how I felt). I also felt bloated, hungry...like I could eat a horse, and had a bad cold/sinus infection. Home pregnancy tests can give false negatives. I had three negative home tests with my second pregnancy. Of course I never got my period following my first child's birth, so I could have taken them too early.
The best test is at the doc's office. Good luck!
Honestly, I would say wait it out and if you haven't started a couple of days after you think it is time then test again. I was in your shoes a couple of months ago and really wanted to be pregnant. I experienced all of the symptoms you have listed and I even took a pt early which was negative. I ended up starting right on time. I did a little research though and it turns out that your body releases the hormone progesterone immediately after ovulation that can slow down the digestive track, leading to heartburn, nausea, gas, and constipation/diarrhea. I hope that you really are pregnant if that is what you want but I wouldn't start picking out nursery colors just yet!
Hi T.,
I have had 2 pregnancys. I was very tired. I needed to pee all the time. My boobs were very sore. I was very nauseated and on the verge of throwing up and did throw up for 3 months. Sounds like you may be pregnant. Is this your first? You might go out if you have a dollar store and buy a dollar pregnancy test and they are very accurate for only a dollar. Hope you are pregnant if you want to be and hope you are not sick if you are pregnant. I am 49 and have grandkids now. hope I helped you. WRite anytime. Take care, P.
From my experience, an early sign of pregnancy is breast tenderness and an absence of a period at the time it is due, like a week or two late. The accuracy of the home pregnancy tests usually are a good indicator. Although when you first become pregnant, your body makes the HCG hormone and you go from zero to doubleing that amount every 48 hours. So it is possible that your pregnancy is just too early to trigger the pregnancy test strip. But if it doesn't trigger the test stip to be positive, usually the other symptoms are not there also. I hope this makes sence to you. Try not to be too anxious, it only causes you more symptoms. Your fatigue could be from lack of sleep as you stated. If you fail to have a period at the time it is due to begin, you may not have ovulated that particular time. This can make you periods irregular. Women can be as regular as a clock and then for unknown reasons begin being irregular in their cycle. One thing we know for sure.....time will tell, if you are or if you are not pregnant. Try to relax and enjoy the moment. I am a mother of two and a nurse for many years. Best to you...H.
I always knew I was pregnant before my period was even due. For me, it was fatigue and breast tenderness . . . nausea didn't kick in until I was into my 2nd month. There are now some pregnancy tests that supposedly can tell if your pregnant even if you haven't missed your period yet - did you try one of those? Otherwise, just wait a few more days and test again. I know it is hard to wait . . . good luck!
