It's obvious that you love your daughter very much and really want what's best for her. The thing is, you're not basing your opinion of vaccines on fact. Rather, you have a heard a couple of stories and assumed they are true.
Your daughter's father showed you links to the CDC website. Can you think of a more reputable source on this issue? What does the Center for Disease Control have to gain by misleading you into thinking vaccines are safe?
You have a theory that eating healthy and organic (which is not the same as healthy) means you don't need vaccines. Do you have research to back up this theory?
Your daughter's father has a friend who is a pediatrician and is encouraging vaccines. This pediatrician is a doctor who went to medical school and has been treating many children. Can you really say that you have the education and experience to say that this person is wrong?
Vaccines are perfectly safe and they save lives. Any evidence to the contrary has been fabricated by individuals and organizations looking to make a financial gain. It's really sad, because many parents of autistic children are the true victims of the scams. Many parents were desperate for answers. They were told that vaccines were to blame for their children's misfortune. The children who did not receive life saving vaccines are also the victims, as if their parents didn't believe the lies they would have received the necessary protection.
Please. I urge you to reconsider the scientific evidence. Vaccines save lives, period. Please get your children vaccinated.
