My twins are turning 12 in a couple of weeks, and since we've been going through a lot as a family, I thought it would be fun for us to relax and have a mom/daughter glam weekend. I'm making our hair appointments and thought mani/pedis and decorating each others nails would be fun, then have pics taken together. Would anyone be able to recommend any photographers or studios that won't break the bank, and we can get maybe a nice pose or two? I don't know if most places will give us the digital image rights but if you know of anyplace (that won't break the bank!!), please share! I'd love to be able to use a Groupon or Living Social deal to get a canvas picture made later if we can get the digital images. If not, I just want to have cute pics with my babies. They grow up fast! I hope to make calls in the next day or two so I'd love to hear from you!
Thank you so much for the suggestions! We have pics with the whole family, but considering all that we have been dealing with, my girls want and need that special time with Mom. They are so excited... And so am I!! We're thinking of adding an overnight hotel stay to have our own little sleepover. I'm so glad that they still want to have special time with me even though they like hanging out with their friends. Hubby is planning alone time with the boys, so its going to be a good thing for all of us, Thanks again, beautiful Mama's.

Picture People in mall they. They do a great job and not expensive. How about a family photo. Hubby other kids may feel left out.
There are all kinds of photography shoot deals on Group On and Living Social- you might check with one of those! I saw several this week for different parts of the DFW area and some will travel. Hope you have a wonderful girls weekend!
I've used the studios in chain stores quite successfully. Sears, Wal Mart, Penny's. You can take props with you if you want something special. And they do give you a disk. I look for packages which they advertise but their everyday prices are good. They will try to sell you more than you need. Boost up your sales resistance before going in.
You do have to be careful with shoots from the social sites such as Groupon. My daughter used one and the pictures are so ordinary. It was not a savings at all. They cost more than what they could've gotten at Sears and weren't of as good a quality. Know the studio before buying is my recommendation.
