I also use Bob Burgess (he's out of Allen) - he refurbished my baby grand (it was in terrible condition when I inherited it) and made it absolutely gorgeous and it plays beautifully.
Hi All!
I have a lovely antique upright piano that is terribly out of tune. Can anyone recommend a tuner and/or give me a ballpark figure of how much it would cost? I live in Richardson.
Thanks!
M.

We were in a similar situation a while ago and the tuner's name was Leon Zigligson (sp?). Sorry, but I cannot find his card. I'm sure you could look it up and find it.
He was really reasonable, and took part of the piano away to fix it and brought it back. He gave us different cost options, etc.
Hi M.,
I am a piano teacher and I have a wonderful tuner that also refurbishes pianos. His name is Bob Burgess and his phone number is: 972/727-2634.
Hi M.,

Our piano teacher recommended Ty Ramsey ###-###-####

Contact a local church or high school music director. They might know someone. Good luck.

I would recommend calling Steinway Hall - Dallas. I know they have been tuning pianos for a longtime and hear they do a really quality work. You can visit their website at www.steinwaydfw.com to find out more.
