Chicken pockets, look on the Pillsbury website, it uses crescent rolls filled with chopped chicken, cream cheese, minced onion.
Super yummy!
I have a couple of extra bricks of cream cheese, and I am looking for a recipe that I can use one in. (I bought them to make a cheese cake and made a different dessert instead.) I am looking for a main course recipe, not a dessert. Does ayone have a tried and true recipe that calls for cream cheese? I tried looking at the Philadelphia Cream Cheese recipe page, but it is really hard to navigate, so I figured I would ask here.

I have this cooking in my crock pot right now!
1 bag frozen tortellini
1 box veggie stock
1 bunch (or small bag) spinach
2 cans Italian diced tomatoes (I didn't have any, so I diced fresh tomatoes and added dried oregano & basil)
1 brick cream cheese
Cube up cream cheese and put all in a crock pot on low 5-6 hours. You could easily double the recipe and use up 2 bricks.
go to Kraftbrands.com. They have some main meal recipes I think you will find you like. They have a steak with creamy peppercorn that looks good. Plus a chicken one too. There is also kraftrecipes.com. I really like there Chicken Fetticine Alfredo one. I copy and pasted below for you but you can also go to the site too.

Oh my gosh! I'm totally going to use the recipes listed below! I was just going to give you a suggestion of a side dish ... twice baked mashed potatoes. Boil and mash potatoes with the cream cheese, sour cream and butter (add milk a little at a time until desired consistency). Transfer into a greased glass baking dish, top with cheddar cheese and put in oven for 15-20 minutes at 350.
You can also freeze the cream cheese if you aren't able to use up before expiration.
Stuffed Chicken Croissants:
Cream Cheese
3 Chicken Breasts
2T Milk
1 roll Croissants
1/4 t pepper
Shred cooked chicken breasts, mix with softened cream cheese, milk, and pepper.
Roll out croissants in seperate triangles on a cookie sheet. Put spoonfuls of the chicken/cream cheese mix on top and place another triangle on top and press the edges together. You can top with melted butter and crushed croutons for a little extra umph..
Bake at 350 for about 17 minutes or until croissants are light brown.
