I'm not sure why people think peeing a lot is an early sign of pregnancy.
For the most part, when I got pregnant - I had zero, zip nada 'signs' at all and didn't for several months in spite of a positive blood test.
It didn't get 'real' for me till I heard the babies heartbeat.
If newly pregnant, the embryo is microscopic, like smaller than a pin head, and in no way affects your peeing ability/capacity for many many months.

Bladder infection, STDs, kidney stones, cancer, muscular issues, etc - yeah, all of those are possibilities but only a doctor can help you figure this out.
Please make an appointment and I hope you and your medical professional can get this solved for you.

There are many, many things that can cause frequent urination - changes in diet, changes in excercise, changes in lifestyle. Consuming more caffeine will definitely can more frequent urination, as well as make it more difficult to control.

Frequent urination is common during the 8th and 9th month of pregnancy when the baby is pressing on the bladder. I don't remember ever hearing of it as a common pregnancy symptom at any other time.

If you think something is wrong, you need to call your doctor.

Why don't you ask your Dr.

We have no idea what's going on in your body.

Sounds like a UTI to me. When I was looking into IUD's, I found that some people had continual UTI's until they got theirs out. My sister got hers recently and also got a UTI but thankfully it didn't come back.

For some reason, my sister and I are both UTI-prone. It took me years to recognize the signs and I took a lot of antibiotics that messed up my guts. I finally found a non-antibiotic route to get rid of them, if you're interested. Once I feel an inkling (usually going too often is my first sign), I hit it with d-Mannose powder, uva ursi, and Cran-Stat Extra by Vitanica. If I catch it quick enough, I only have to do this for a day, otherwise I continue for a couple days.

Of course you want to make sure that you have one in the first place. There are test strips that you can get at Walgreen's, etc.

Make sure to drink lots of water. Good luck!

I am on mirena - never had this. Sounds like a urinary tract issue to me.

I'm not sure why you think there's a connection between the mirena and the urination, especially because you've had the mirena for so long.

Frequent urination, with or without the urgency you're feeling, can be caused by so many things, from a simple urinary tract infection to diabetes, and a million things in between. Pregnancy is one option but far from the only one.

So, take precautions until you rule out pregnancy (e.g., don't drink alcohol but also be careful if you think the mirena is out of place), and see your doctor or go to a walk-in clinic (since t's the weekend) for a basic urinalysis. They can do a pregnancy test and check your sugars at the same time. If you do have a UTI, antibiotics can take care of it. You can try cranberry juice to help relieve symptoms of a UTI - if something else is causing the problem, the juice won't help, but it won't hurt either.
