Can anyone recommend a pediatrician in the Lakewood area? We are looking for a multiple-doctor practice having extended hours and same-day appointments. We need someone who is understanding, non-judgmental, easy to talk to and not rushed.

I saw that someone already recommeded Acadamey Park Pediatrics. They are GREAT at Alameda and Wads. Same day appts are never a problem and I like Dr. Afrsten and Dr, Nicloson as well as Liz who is a PA. My son is 10 months and it has been so great to have such a supportive and wonderful staff!

Rocky Mountain Pediatrics is great. Gale Griffin or Edra Weiss. They are older and very experienced. I take all three of my children there. 2 daughters 10, 8 and a soon to be 2year old son.

I have wonderful family doctor for my 3yr and 12yr plus I go to him. He is not a pediatrician. But he has taken care of my son since he was born. It is Mile High Family Medicine. They are only open from 8am to 5pm Mon- Fri. But everyone is very nice and they want what is best for you and your family. His name is Dr. Mark Spencer. He is wonderful doctor with great bedside matter and never rushes you out and listens to what you have to say also the PA Cythnia is very good too. Good Luck!! Hope this helps!! L.
It's not a Peds but a Family Practice, but we totally love Dr. Schindel at Mile High Family Medicine. ###-###-####. We've also seen Cynthia there and love her, too. I've never had a problem getting a same day appointment. I know there's another mom here who loves the other doctor in the practice. I haven't ever met him, though. Cynthia is a PA and is very knowledgeable and is not afraid to ask for help if needed. Last time I went in I had a weird thing that was hard to treat with me nursing and Dr. Schindel came right in to check it out. I've known him since we were in high school. They're in Belmar in the Whole Foods building. I know all the staff and they are great to work with. We've not always been the easiest patients and I still have no complaints.

Look no further than Green Mountain Pediatrics. They are at 255 Union, between Alameda & Hwy 6. Dr. Francine Paston & Dr. Dan Scholoegel are AWESOME. Both take their time with me as a mom as well as when taking care of my 3 year old daughter and I am so glad I found them! Their phone # is: ###-###-####. They are open late on Monday & Thursdays and also have Sat AM appointments. I've never had an issue getting my daughter in to be seen quickly, and I tell all of my mom friends and StrollerFit moms to take their kids there.
