I highly recommend Dr. Dan Streeby in Eagle. He sees all 3 of my children. My oldest has autism and Dr. Dan does a great job working with him as well as my 3 and 6 year old.
Hi! I'm looking for pediatric dentist recommendations in the Boise/Meridian area. Our little guy is 1 1/2 and our normal dentist doesn't usually see toddlers until 3 or so. However, because I'm starting to see plaque on his bottom teeth (despite brushing) and since my hubby accidentally signed him up for dental insurance, I'm thinking it might be wisest to make a visit. Any pediatric dentists in the area that you love?

Hi, we use Dr. Scott Freeman. He is only a pediatric dentist which is nice as he stays up to date on that specialty. His office is spacious and clean, though not overly filled with toys, just feels more calm. He has seen my son every 6 months since he was 1 and I feel he has been professional and kind with both of us. He takes time to answer questions and of course there is a toy drawer at the end. Overall, quite pleased and my son asked about when he gets to go to the dentist next.
Hi M.!
I know you've already had a lot of responses, but I just have to add to the advice that a few have already given ~ that is Dr. Dan Streeby in Eagle. The staff is excellent ~ they do great work and keep you informed and WANT to know if you have any questions! I am very impressed with their office and the (colorful) atmosphere there! My kids LOVE going there! There's plenty of kid-(and parent)-friendly games there to play while you wait, too. I highly recommend Dr. Streeby's office in Eagle. Thanks!
S. =)
P.S. Congratulations on your upcoming summer baby! =)
I suggest Rod Emory. My kids and I love him. My son is one of those kids that is often very uncooperative. We went to three different dentists and found Dr. Emory. My son had to be restrained just so that the others could look in his mouth. But he lets Dr. Emory's office clean his teeth. He tries to let them do the x-rays, but his gag reflex is too strong. For my 2 year olddaughter all he does is look in her mouth, so it's not as frightening for her. But either way they are great.
I took my little guy (2) to Dr. Toby Merriman in Meridian when he chipped his front tooth. He was really nice and thorough. They have movies playing on the ceiling for the kids to watch while getting their teeth looked at, but my son was about your son's age when he went in and he sat in my lap for the exam. Their waiting room is pretty cool too!
I see you now have several to choose from. I take our kids to Dr. Streeby in Eagle. He is great! The office is great! TV's on the ceiling, very kid friendly. He is very patient and not pushy at all with the kids.
Dr. Cheryl Higer is awesome. My kids love her. She has offices in Boise and Meridian.
Dr. Meadors is awesome. He used to share his clinic and we quit going because the receptions staff and dental hygenists of his partner were SO absolutely rude to us. They hated processing our insurance and treated us really bad because "we didn't pay as much as a good patient" but Dr. Meadors was super nice. We used to go to the same church that he does and he was nice there too. He has moved on from his aweful partner's office but we had already found a regular dentist that would accomodate our younger kids.
