Locally (we live in a small town) I am having a hard time finding edible gluten/corn free breads, cookies, bagels etc. I am trying to find online companies that serve those allergen free issues. Thanks for any help you can give!!!

What can I do next?

King Arthur Flour has many gluten-free options. I'm not sure if they have corn free ...

If you have a gluten (wheat) sensitivity and cannot use corn as a wheat substitute, you are going to have a tough time anywhere. Perhaps you could find a source for potato flour and make your own breads and cookies. Good luck!

I do gluten free from time to time and it helps me feel a lot better. I use Bob's Red Mill. I like their products a bit better than King Arthur and their pricer, I think, are about the same. Here is their website:

Good Luck!

Way back when gluten free was not as popular, my brother-in-law was diagnosed as celiac. They also lived in a very small town. (This was probably 30+ years ago....) For the most part, celiac or gluten intolerance was not known about, especially in small communities.

So, whenever they went to the big city (several hours away), they stocked up on his favorite gf bread (probably a rice flour type bread) and kept it in the freezer. My MIL would just go in the basement for a slice or two of bread as it was needed, rather than keeping an entire loaf out at a time. For the most part, he just didn't eat bread type products. They also ate a lot of other items instead of things containing gluten... and my MIL did a lot of cooking from scratch, so she didn't have to worry as much about "hidden" gluten.

Good luck!
