T.N.
I know, right?! I can't decide what to wear! You're wearing a white gown, right? Would you be insulted if I wore black?!
BAHAWAHAHA!!
You'll be fine. It's gonna be fantastic! Can't WAIT to see pix!
:)
I'm on the verge of having a panic attack (thank god I'm going for a pedi with my mom in an hour)... My BP has to be through the roof, I'm all jingley jangley nerves, super jumpy, lightheaded, breathing hard, sweating, tunnel vision...
...Because OMG I'm really, really getting married in 2 days.
I'm not nervous, but apparently anxious, and very excited.
I'm trying to get my breathing under control without taking my anxiety meds (I really can't afford to be a zombie the rest of the day)... how do you shut off your brain and breathe?!?!
It's very suddenly all becoming very real (where as the past few days have felt like a dream, I've been on autopilot).
I need a distraction!

take half the pill. that shouldn't zombie you out. but being a ball of nerves, like another poster said, you'll regret. :(
makes ya' feel any better, i'd be trippin too! omg - marriage.... AAHHHHH!
Girl, what are you so nervous about?! Ya'll have been living together, you have a family... you are just re-affirming what you already know: that you love this man, that he loves you, that you want to spend the rest of your lives together and raise your family together. That's not nerve-racking, that's beautiful. Bask in that, and enjoy these moments. :)
Mimosas!
It's GO TIME, Chica!
Relax. Best wishes!
Again?
Didn't you panic about this last week?
Just pretend it's already over and this is a casual party that's expressly happening for your enjoyment.
I think everyone gets a little stage fright over certain events, but you strike me as someone who will jump in with both feet and then enjoy it thoroughly (and then wonder why you were so worried in the first place).
(I hate this song, but it's true.)
Don't worry! Be happy!
FLASH ROB!!! Have sex - that will be a great distraction!!!
After your pedi - come up here!!! You can have some R&R....
YAHOOO!!
Why do your anxiety meds make you a zombie? See if you can get ahold of a xanax. ;) Shhhh I didnt say that. Try to relax, you are going to regret all this worry. Try to enjoy this time and CONGRATS! I want to see pics and I dont want to hear that you passed out!!
Go to a zumba class!! You can shake your booty and whatever else you want to shake :-) and shout and sing at the top of your lungs. Get all that nervous excitable tension out. LOL hahahhahahahahahaha (sorry that was my nervous laugh because you have kind of made me excited on your behalf and I don't even know you) Have a fabulous day.
Solitare?
I keep wondering if anything will phase me. Last night I sat happily doing my own alterations. By the way I hate making bustles but it looks nice.
Don't forget to breathe. :)
l
Glass of wine?
Chamomile tea before bed tonight?
tsk tsk tsk - your children aren't enough of a distraction? LOL Just think of that day being like any other - but it's a HUGE dressy family gathering.
Can you go sit out in the kiddie pool with a magazine? Go out for a walk?
Concentrate on taking a biiiiig breath in through the nose, and breathing out hard--like make a "pooof!" sound--through your mouth. Repeat X 10.
The next few days are going to be both the longest and the shortest of your life!! Try to stay in the moment so that you can avoid the blink-and-it's-over feeling.
Have a Cocktail or 2, maybe 3 :-)
It's so exciting ! Try to remember to ENJOY it !!!!!!!!!
Turn off the lights in one room, put on your favorite music and 1 of 2 things you can do.
1. Sit and meditate and lower your blood pressure -or-
2. DANCE!!! Get out all that anxiousness and release it into the air!
I always do one of those and it's the best thing to do when you are soooo anxious! Good luck and HAVE FUN!!
Do something physical. Work out, have sex, clean the floor on your hands and knees, go to a park and swing on the swings, play, run around - you get the idea.
The physical activity will calm your mind.
I was NEVER nervous, only worried about the weather because we got married outside.
I DID pretty much survive on Peanut Buster Parfaits from Dairy Queen the week before. It was the ONLY thing I was hungry for.
IF you don't get hit by a street sweeper while you're sitting at a stop sign consider yourself LUCKY! That happened to me three days before my wedding.
Go to a movie! There's nothing like immersing yourself in someone else's drama to put your anxieties on hold. Maybe Bridesmaids? LOL.
I also second physical activity.
Good luck and congrats!
A pedi is a great relaxer!! Luckily you guys already live the married life, but it won't make the moment any less special. Live for the day being yours and the moment being you and him alone! You've had some other great ideas: watch a movie, read a book, do something physical....just get your mind going on something else :o).
You need a warm shower & sleep.Good Luck
first BREATHE
second turn off the lights light some lavender candles and turn on some relaxing music. something from the new age category, just close your eyes lay back and take some deep cleansing breaths.
Yep sounds really hippy like and Im not one for things like yoga or the like but this is the one thing that helps me calm down. I recently found a relaxing channel on pandora it's called " Rainforest sunset" channel. It's very calming.
And no sex with your SO won't cure it.
when i get super crazy anxious i do something super active (jumping rope, running, etc.) and the sheer effort of working out dulls my senses. lol. OR i take a really hot shower or go in the hot tub. maybe do both!!! you'll be fine! i'm happy for you! :)
