The Center for Women's Health at Evergreen is stellar! Anyone in the practice is great!
Dr. Patrick Morell at Evergreen Womens Care is the best! The office is also at Evergreen Hospital. He delivered both of my daughters. I love him! I had to have 2 c-sections & I wouldn't have wanted anyone else.
Hi A.,
I absolutely LOVE my OB. Her name is Dr. Chien and she is with Evergreen Women's Health Center in Kirkland.

I have met all but one of the doctors and the one that I haven't met, a friend of mine sees and really likes. I don't think you would go wrong with any of them! Good luck!

I've been going to Center for Women's Health at Evergreen for 5 years and love it there. Their office is located inside the Evergreen hospital which is very convenient for lots of reasons. They have both midwives and women doctors. I'd recommend Dr. Susan Eagan if you want a doctor, she's awesome.
I don't have a recommendation for an OB, but I have a recommendation for one to avoid. Dr. Pheifer at Evergreen Medical Center. He made me uncomfortable from the moment I met him until the moment I left him and changed to a different place entirely. (I moved to Bellegrove OBGyn in Bellevue with Dr. Hal Zimmer, who's wonderful, but I know you're not looking in Bellevue.) I'm sure Dr. Pheifer has a lot of happy patients, but my experience with him was not good.
I HIGHLY recommend the Drs at Center For Womens Health at Evergreen. All the Drs there are fantastic but I had Dr Wells with my last child and she was great! Plus Evergreen is an awesome hospital to deliver at :)

I use cascade natural medicine in kirkland. Being a naturopathic doctor myself I choose to see a naturopath for all my ob/gyn needs. If you are intereste in treating things naturally and/or being preventative about your health you will enjoy rhis serevice my doctor is also my son's pediatrician. I see Dr vivian sovran, Dr Kingsbury is also really great.
For the more OB side of OB/gyn I used midwife Charlotte Geddis in Everett. She has been delivering babies for twenty years andrarely needs to transport her clients to the hospital = she is very skilled at helping women have theri babies at home. If your looking for that! After having my first at home I understand why women might want drugs! but it was so nice not to worry about going anywhere or feeling pressured to have unnecessary interventions. iF you use an OB you might want to ask what their c-section rate is.
Good luck to you.

-- the OB I'm recommending is about a 15 minute drive- but she's great. She is my youngest daughters' ob and delivered my now-4 year old grandaughter. The delivery was tense, sad and difficult ( Dad was in Iraq- my daughter was absolutely beside herself with stress and worry and the tension level was through the sky) Dr. Cho -- ( Denise Cho - a lovely woman) -- handled Susie - and all the assorted family with kindness - diplomacy- firmness AND deliverred a lovely, healthy baby girl -- She also handles my gyn issues -- I would drive a lot further than 15 minutes -- though that is just my opinion-- She practices at Northwest Hospital- a really nice place-- you'll find the perfect one for you-- I just know it-
Blessings,

I highly recommend Dr. Karen Wells at Evergreen Hospital Center for Women's health. She was my OB for both of my kids and is very caring and "mom like".
