New Mom and New to Area

Cape Coral with no friends or family here. My husband is trying to get me to go out and make friends and meet people, but it's not that easy when you stay home with two little ones! Welcome to SW Florida! Here you'll find all sorts of folks to chill with, I pesonally am starting a mom's group for parents of children under 1 year. As far as babysitters go, I have a wonderful gal named Kaycee who watchs my little girl, she's 15 or so and is very mild mannered. If you'd like I can give you her number, however she does occasionally need transportation since she's not old enough to drive.

Your best bet is too look into your local MOMS Club. They have playgroups for age appropriate groups. www.momsclub.org.

Another site is www.swflmoms.com, they are trying to set up playgroups as well and alot of the women live in the cape.

HI I Am R. and the mom of a 21-month-old boy. I've moved to Ft.Myers 6 months ago and am just now starting to meet new friends my age with children. (Im 23).
My friend Tayia runs a daycare out of her house. She is the mom of a 2.5 year-old and a 4-month-old. Just today I went to her home to check out the daycare because I will begin working for her in Oct. I can guarentee that she has the best rats in Ft. Myers and Cape Coral. She charges 20 dollars a day and if you just need a few hours to go out its only 3 dollars an hour!!
