Needing Extra Income

I am sorry to say that there really aren't a lot of options for working from home...other then selling stuff. That road wasn't for me either......I know there are a few degrees you can get quickly and work for a business from home. One I have been looking into in medical transcription. Some places will hire you or you can work for a company that hires you out, you can either make a set salary or get paid by word. I haven't had much time to really look into it, but it seems like a good job. Another option is maybe babysitting in your home, but I tried that and unless you are a certified daycare keeping a few kids instead of one or two then people can try to take advantage of you. But if you are interested in can bring in a fairly decent amount of money. Just be sure to create and stick to a contract...no matter what.

I had been looking for about 3 mo. for an at home job. It is very fustrating, But hang in there. My faverite site is WAHM.COM I got my job from there. I have been working for about 1 mo. It is slow right now, But I am still in the trial period. There are many jobs on there that are legit. But you have to have patience. Some said it tokk the 1yr. or more some, 3 wks. It all depends. But that is where I would start your search. It is also a forum, so you can talk to other moms to. Good Luck in your search.

When we decided to start a family, I had a corporate 9-5, plus some weekends job. I wanted to do something that would allow me time to raise my children and set my own hours. I became a realtor. This may work for you depending on where you live ((it can be kinda expensive to get started depending on school and state laws).

I have loved it. I have found that it is really hard to work from home with a toddler...but I have a great babysitter and a wonderful husband who help me work when I need or want to.

If you or your husband got your lisence, you could be an active realtor or remain inactive and simply refer clients to other realtors for a fee. (In the state of Kentucky you cannot pay/receive a referral fee unles you are a licensed realtor.)
