When my church has their annual Fall Festival, they have a huge silent auction to keep the parents entertained and the raise tons of money. Of course, it might be a little late to get that together at this point, but if you wanted to do a small one to get your feet wet, it is a fun way for the parents to raise money for the school. Alternatively you could do a raffle - have raffle prizes on the table, each with a paper sack taped next to it. People buy raffle tickets - we did our last one for 1 ticket for $5, 5 for $20 and get to put the ticket next to the specific item they want. It is close to time, so here are some companies that I know like to donate to good causes: Arthur Murry Dance Studio http://dancedfw.com, Cowhide Western Furniture http://www.cowhidewesternfurniture.com, Cooper Guest Lodge http://www.cooperguestlodge.com, Creative Arts Center of Dallas http://www.creativeartscenter.org, Musica For The World http://www.musicafortheworld, Vetro Glassblowing Studio & Gallery http://www.vetroartglass.com, Texas Tornado Hockey http://www.texastornado.pointstreaksites.com, Gotta Dance http://www.gottadanceplano.com, Kids-N-Art http://www.kidsandart.com, Tartan Bears http://www.tartanbears.com, McCormick & Schmick's http://www.mccormickandschmicks.com, Sevy's Woodfire Grill http://www.sevys.com, Dallas Arboretum http://www.dallasarboretum.org, Dallas Children's Theater http://www.dct.org, Avon http://www.acounts.avonrepresentative.com, Dicho's Books & More http://www.dichosbooks.com, Gordo's http://www.gordosdallas.com, Citizen Sweet Bakery http://www.citizensweet.com, So Savvy Events http://www.sosavvyevents.com, Texas Caribbean Restaurant http://www.texascaribbeanfood.com, Kids B Kids http://www.kidsbkids.com
These are just some we used at a recent event - there are many more, just pool your resources for who you know, who they know, people with home business are often willing to put something in auctions a are artists. Good luck if you decide to go this route!
Another thing that's lots of fun that I didn't see on your flier (I may have just missed it) is a cake walk! I always loved those!
