Need Shampoo/conditioner Recommendation - San Diego,CA

I need a shampoo and conditioner for my 3yr old daughter. She has what I call "real hair" meaning it's not little girl hair anymore. She's mixed white and East Indian. Her hair is long (mid back to high waist) and wavy. I basically need a grown up shampoo that doesn't burn eyes and is sulfate/paraben free. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

My daughter has very thick wavy hair and I use the suave for kids shampoo and conditioner combo. It's tear free and it works great.

I use Kiss my Face and JASON organic shampoos and conditioners for kids on my girls. I get it at Babies R Us/Toys R Us.

My daughter has super thick, wavy/curly hair (my husband is part African-American, and I am white). Since her hair tends to be a bit dry, I use Aveda Dry Remedy shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner both are very thick in consistency so they won't run into her eyes. Then I use a rinsing cup that is flat on one side with a rubber gasket type thing (I bought it at Babies R Us) - it forms a seal against her forehead, and this way the rinse water doesn't get in her eyes. Then when she gets out of the bath and we towel dry her hair, I put Aveda Be Curly in her hair to keep it from getting frizzy. We always get compliments on her pretty hair, so it does work! =)

There are Mixed Chick products that you can look into. They have shampoos and conditioners for kids, too. Otherwise I just bought a shampoo from Wholefoods, a big one with a pumper, that is paraben/sulfate free and it is moisterizing, it says on the bottle. It is coconut/mint but it isn't tear free so you still have to be careful. Good luck!

I shampoo and then use a leave in conditioning cream by Garnier called Fructis. It makes it much easier to brush after her shower. Her hair is past her waist.

We use Beauty Without Cruelty Rosemary Mint Tea Tree Conditioner, rated a 2 on a scale of 10 for toxicity (we buy it at drugstore.com):

And Kiss My Face Kids Shampoo and Conditioner (don't let the title fool you, this product seems like there is no conditioner in it at all so we do use a conditioner along w/ it). Rated a 3 on a scale of 10 for toxicity:

Good luck!
