So What Happened?

I finally had my appointment (waited because of insurance, not because appointment wait was crazy), and Shea Joyner was the doctor i chose. She was wonderful!!! I felt totally comfortable with her and felt as though i could have asked her anything. Though i waited forever to get into the room to see her--almost an hour--it was worth it. Thanks for the great advice, moms!

Dr. Joyner is wonderful. I'm not crazy about the other doctors so I switched practices because I'm still having babies. However, you only need the gyn part and she is FABULOUS. She takes you seriously and I never felt like she was blowing me off.

My ob/gyn office is great, and has a focus on all stages of women's health, not just during the child bearing years. North Central Women's Health Partners (although I think the practice recently changed its name), http://www.ncwhp.com/. I see Dr. Jennifer Allen . . . she is awesome and is a great listener!

I too have moved to Dr. Joyner now that I am done having babies. She is awesome and very sweet. Her hubby is also a family practitioner in Allen and is the primary care Dr. my hubby and I use.

My Obgyn is in Dallas, but my previous Obgyn who handled my last pregnancy only focuses on gynecology now and she is WONDERFUL! I wish she still did obstetrics. Her name is Shea Joyner and she works out of Craig Ranch Obgyn along with Dr. Sheimer. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Joyner. After my first pregnancy I had some infections and she was on top of everything. She is very personable and really makes her patients feel at ease!!! Their office is located in Mckinney right off 121. Hope this helps!!!

To Shelley, I know Dr. Joyner no longer does Obstetrics, I had stated that, but A.C. said she was done having babies, meaning she only needs a gynecologist.

I use Dr. Halderman at the North Texas Womens Health Partners, and I just love her! She has performed around 7 surgeries on me and is always so compassionate and caring. I am 50 years old and past those child bearing years, I have never had a problem with getting her to listen to my aches and pains or just following up on what I thought were aches and pains.
