Hi, We have a 2001 Tahoe with 100K+ miles on it and it is starting to fall apart fast. We have 4 kiddos so need it to be working. I also have an '89 Jeep Wrangler that we would like to get running at some point in our lives. I'd like to find a mechanic who can work on 4-wheel drive vehicles. Thanks for any input.

Finding a good mechanic is so hard. We go to Keller Brothers off Broadway and Dry Creek. We have been going there for a couple of years and they seem to be good and honest. I believe if you tell them I referred you (or there is a little referral card you can fill out when you check in), I think you get $15 off and so do I on our next visit. Hi. My husband is a great "mechanic" (lawyer during the day! haha) and is the only one who works on our LandRovers and our '89 Jeep Wrangler! We NEVER go the the garage. He can spend hours working on our cars if I let him..lol.
You should email him and tell him what's going on with your vehicles. He's all ears and LOVES to work on cars. I swear he was born to do it. We use Ken's Auto Body. They have a mechanic as well. They have been the only ones so far that have actually fixed the problems. I don't have the shop number on me but the owner is Ken Van de Weghe and his cell is ###-###-####. Tell him S. sent you.
We use a guy we found on Craigslist that runs a mobile repair business. He will come to you your house to fix whatever is needed. He is honest and costs much less than some of the repair shops. His name is Bob ###-###-####. Good Luck!
