Hi Moms,
I would like to recover my 8 dining room chair seats this summer and am looking for the best place to find inexpensive, yet nice, fabric by the yard. I have been to JoAnns and Hancocks and just haven't found anything I love, so I am hoping for a recommendation of a great place to buy fabric in the Plano/McKinney/Allen/Frisco/Richardson area. Thanks in advance!
I found some at Hobby Lobby.

Childress Fabrics. There is one in Frisco. I don't know what the prices are. But they do have better selection of fabric for furniture than Hancock or JoAnns.
I got an ENORMOUS deal on very high-quality upolstry fabric at Boca Bargoons in Plano. If you're not in a rush, get on their mailing list and watch for a sale off their already discounted prices--that's how I did it. Their fabrics full price are EXORBITANT, but very very pretty, so finding a deal on them is great! I got other fabric at Joann, but the Boca Bargoons stuff was actually cheaper! There are also some fabric outlets over by 35 in Dallas--I haven't been, but I've heard there are great deals if you're willing to paw through some bins.
Hi, E.,
Walmart has very nice fabrics at reasonable prices.
Have a blessed day!

Look in your yellow pages under upholstry fabrics. discount--wolesale etc. Calico Corners comes to mind as well as Cutting Corners and there used to be a place in Dallas on Mckinney near the Hard Rock Cafe that had great discounts!
Good luck!
