I need to find a good family dentist for me, my husband, and my 3 year old son. I DO NOT like dentists so I need a good one that is kind and patient, and good with children since it will be my sons first visit. I would be willing to drive further for a GREAT dentist. Thank you in advance.
Dr. Michael Ingalls in Lake Mary is an excellent Children's Dentist. My daughter needed a couple of fillings and it was a painless experience for both of us. We use Dr Dirk Prusia in Altamonte for the Adults; we have many relatives in the area and they all go here.
I live in Lake Mary but I drive to Winter Park for my dentist. I think he's WONDERFUL. When I took my first daugter for her first appointment, that's all she could talk about. She kept wanting to go back. It's not a "children's dentist", per se, as we go there as well, but they do really well with first timers and beyond;o) They take a picture of them and put it on their wall, which my daughter enjoyed as well. His name is Dr. Acuna. (Acuna and Cahue). I hope this helps

I went to her, my husband, my daughter, her husband, and her son 8 yrs old.
She is compationate, and patient. I do not know if she sees children as young as 3yrs. but she is worth a call to find out.

We had several. One (in the Lake Mary area)actually wanted to crown teeth that did not need it, (we found out after changing to another dentist). Dr. Parpia on Douglas Ave in Altamonte Springs is very good. She is patient and does not do unnecessary work. ###-###-####
For an Orthodontist (if needed) Dr Porter also on Douglas ###-###-####. We do not like dentists in general, but you need them and these were very good.
