Need Daycare or Camps for Winter Break

My 9yr old will be out for 2 weeks for Xmas break and I was trying to find a fun camp that she might be able to go to for one or both weeks. Anyone know of any besides the YMCA? They come to her school and I was hoping for something away from school. I live in Crowley and work Downtown FTW and Hubby works in Haltom City. So any place in or around those locations are preferred.

What can I do next?

Check with a different YMCA - prehaps the main on in FW - they have different programs....I was a "Y" kid and so were my kids...great organization...you might even check at Camp Grady Spruce to see if they are offering anything for that time....good luck!!...PS Also check wtthe Science Museum and other museums in the area....

Check the websites of the local rec centers for what they're offering. All the burbs seem to have their own programs, and you can pick the one that suits your daughter's interests.

Camptivity Day Camp at Lockheed Martin Recreation Area (bryant irvin rd) has an incredible program. fun, age appropriate and they charge by the day, meaning you can pay a daily rate OR you can choose any set of 5 days (or 10) and get the "weekly" rate.
My son has gone in past (this year I have vacation the whole time he is out- YES!!) and loves that they are moving the whole time from games, crafts, archery, fishing (if weather is nice) - you name it - they probably do it:). It is open from 630 a to 6 p - perfect for working families.
here is a link to check it out.
