Need a Pediatrician in Sarasota

Hi J., Dr. Xavier Sevilla @ Whole Child Pediatrics in Lakewood Ranch is good. My son is now 18, but he still accepts him because he is disabled with Autism and Tourette Syndrome. Dr. Featherman at Comprehensive Child Care Associates is wonderful. My kids look forward to going to see him. He came highly recommended by many parents of children from infancy to age eighteen. I have never heard anything negative. His office is easy to get into - they have scheduled walk in sick hours daily and by appointment on Saturday. There are three other doctors in the practice, and all have good reputations as doctors in the community. If you can't get in to see Dr. Featherman for a sick visit, you can always get in to see one of the other doctors. My kids have seen each of them, and still love going to visit the doctor. Dr. Katherine Keeley is excellent and has an office on Cooper Creek Blvd as well as Bahia Vista. She has a very soft and quiet way with children - my 3 year old daughter loves going to see her and we've never had any problems. She came highly recommended to me from a friend that had interviewed many in the area. She is an excellent listener and on top of her game.

Dr. Katherine Keeley is an excellent clinician. She has the heart of a mother and the mind of a brilliant doctor and my daughters think she is the best! I also know she does alot of community work and is involved in caring for the communities children as a whole in addition to the incredible care she offers in her private practice. She has an office right in LWR so the convenience is great, but truthfully, I would travel miles and miles for her to care for my kids!

My kids used to go to Comprehensive Child Care Associates, have to say, at first they seemed ok, but after little over a year, you see the true color. You can't get people to help you over the phone, in fact they have an office full of nurses, receptionists, no less than 10 people not counting the doctors, every time I called, I got an answering machine, when you have an infant it's important to be able to get help ASAP, and I am not talking about major help that needed to be seeing the Dr, I am talking about dosage of infant tylenol for a 3 months old. and forget after hour care, the Doctor who's on duty is always Dr. Murphy, and believe me she doesn't want to hear from you, neither does she care about why you call and how your child's sick. Oh and they charged me co-pay every time we went with my kids and few weeks ago I found out from our insurance company that we've been 100% covered all these time. They owe me hundreds of dollars but they LIED and said they never took those money, I PAID CASH, but they didnt give me any reciept each time and I didnt think to ask. This office it's all about money, not care of patient. Now I go to another doctor who is wonderful, but we are not in FL anymore so I won't really be of much help, just want to let you know about what I feel with Comprehensive Child Care Associates.

I think Dr. Ted is awesome because he seems to genuinly care for children, he takes the time to talk, listen and answer questions. I've also found all the staff to be wonderful. I like that they have walk-in hours and seperate sick/well waiting rooms. I've had only good experiences at this doctor's office.
