Anyone have any recommendations for a good allergist? My son has food allergies, asthma, and seasonal allergies. I have seasonal allergies. We both could use a new allergist. One that keeps current. One that treats children and adults. Or if you have a really good one, I will travel further. I live in Chicago but I'm close to Park Ridge.

I have been seeing him for the past 4 years. He has a wonderful bedside manner and spends a lot of time educating his patients.
I only know of a children's allergist. Dr Rachel Story - she is at Glenbrook Hospital (Glenview/Northbrook) and she was also at Children's Memorial. Sorry... no adult Dr. to refer to you.
Have you thought about seeing an acupuncturist who may be able to help control and lessen the severity of your allergies? If you would consider it, I highly recommend Dr. Soheila Vahabi. She is located in Streeterville, right by Northwestern Hospital at 161 E. Erie. She does non-invasive allergy treatments and has been able to help with my food sensitivities/allergies. I have far less digestive and health issues thanks to her.
