Most little ones have more energy than we do thats for sure. But they need to be run ragged to have that metoblism slow down.
So if you can get them out side..in the fresh air cold or not then run them around the house it will help to burn up that energy. Also try a ride in a car around the block at nap time..that worked for me.
Slowing down the metabolizm is the name of the game. Fresh air usually helps. I found as mine got older it got harder and harder but until he was 5 He had forced naps.
