Yes you can. I was undecided when I went to change it to my married name after I was married. They (the TXDOT people? whoever does drivers licences) said to just bring in my marriage license and I could change it back, no prob. And I did! I went back to my maiden name.

If you are planning on divorce, it is best to wait. You will not have to pay to change your name if you file the name change with your divorce papers. Otherwise, it will cost.

There are also rules:

I believe you can legally change your name to anything at any time... Unless you're a man in Germany, then you can't be Adolf...

good luck!

Sure you can. You can pay to change your legal name at anytime, regardless of marital status. Just google 'legal name change' or something like that.

It is my understanding you can use either your married name or maiden name. The are both you leaglly. I would check with you lawyer. You can even used your married name after divorce (Which you are not wanting). I think you just need to contact everything with your name on it and ask what to do to correct your name.
Your maiden name is still you as well as your married name. You need to remember to sign which ever name things are under and you are finacially responsible for your stuff no matter which name you use. I would probably start with social security and driver licence.
Good luck.

I believe you can. I changed my name while married, in fact I'm still married. But I changed my first & middle name not my last name.

Yes you can. I had a colleague that legally went back to her maiden name. I would contact the courts to see what the process is to do the change.
