My family and I have started the house hunt in Oak Park. Seems that properties often go before or immediately after hitting the MLS. Any insider tricks to finding out about these houses before MLS listing?

What can I do next?

Pick out an address and look it up on Zillow. They usually have other listings in the area. My sister's family and nephew's family liver there and love it.

Baird and Warner sell a ton of properties in Oak Park and therefore a B and W realtor would know the houses before they hit the market b/c they are known internally. We refer to people to Saretta Joyner.

Are you working with a realtor? they see the listings at open houses before they hit the MLS - try Barb Hibnick with ReMax - at ###-###-#### or ____@____.com - she is the best!

Thank you for the comments. We are working with a great realtor. I have just heard there are other ways to find out about homes before they list.
