Hi there,
Does anyone know of a Mothers' Day Out program in Chicago? I'm from Memphis, and they are all over the place there - usually ina church... The programs are usually 1 or 2 days a week, 10-2 (for example). I would love to find a part-time program like this for my almost one-year-old. I live in the Lincoln Square area.

Thanks so much!

This is probably too far for you, but may help someone else. There is a great Mother's Day Out program on Thursdays and Fridays at the First United Methodist Church in Des Plaines. Here is their link

My neighbor researched this recently and apparently they don't have them in the city but I can't remember why that is... she did find a great one right over the border in Evanston and loves it. I think there may be a waiting list but the name is Parents Day Out and it is located at 1420 Maple Street in Evanston. Phone # is: ###-###-#### and the woman who runs the program is named Karen. Good luck!

Hi F.. The Parents' Day Out in Evanston is through the the YMCA's daycare school. You might check the Y nearest you and see if there is something similar. Good luck!

We moved from Houston to Lincoln Square two years ago and had a similar problem. Our daughter was almost 2 and we ended up at Chalk Preschool after a lot of searching and few choices. Loved it. I think, however, that they start at two. Hope this helps a little.
