If this place is in off of 50 I think by Hazel or close by could be Folsom. I wouldnt go with them. I took my son to a place off of Hazel (I think it was take 2 but I don't remember). They said they would love to do a photo shoot with my son. And here is the cost.. anyplace that has you pay for photos upfront is not reputable or so I am told.

If you are serious about the business (for you or your little one)you probably want to go to an agency rather than a school. A good agent will be able to refer you to a teacher(and , boy, will they!!!) I have never heard of Take two talent.

Cast Images is in Sacramento and they are legit- they represent me and have for years. Just be sure when you do work that you bring a CI voucher & keep track of the numbers you were quoted- hourly rate, etc...) It is very important that you watch out for yourself.

JIC, Marla Dell Talent Agency is a very reputable kids talent agency in SF.

If this is the one in Folsom, and I think it is, I did some research after taking my kids out there and online there is a LOT of bad info about them. I also spoke to barbazon and they said that they really are just starting out and trying to make or break type of thing. Call barbazon acting school and ask their opinions on it. Seriously, don't take internet words for anything, speak to a person for real. Anyone can post anything about anything online!!! But at the same time, don't discount things just because it was said online, just like me, I'm a real person giving my own personal experience, but I'm in your trusted group...

I got there with my kids and they talked a little, practiced my kids' "lines", and went in one on one with an interviewer. My boy did great and they said they could definitely get him work, but my daughter decided to be shy, and they said with her looks, she could do still photography where she didn't have to say anything. I was thrilled, but the photo packets are expensive, so I didn't sign up right away. I did research. Also, my personal experience was that the interviewer said she would be calling us back because she liked my children so much, and had their little photo to remind her who they were. I never heard a word and that was over a year ago!!! In my research, I did find that if you got all the photos needed and did the travel, you could get work with them. Sacramento is not the hub of modeling/acting, so travel is paramount to SF or LA.

We liked take 2 Talent. They are nice and forthright and our son loved the photo shoots. We did not succeed however, just due to our not being able to invest all the time it takes and we adopted our second child right as we were getting involved, so I couldnt just drop everything and drive to SF at a moment's notice. It is definitely pricy to get started, but all in all I got a good feeling from them and felt they were reputable!

Good luck and just remember t should be fun, if you or your child is not having fun, nothing is worth it.

Do not go to take two talent!!!! They are not a licenced agency they are a rip off they want to get you to buy $1200 in pictures when kids dont even need prof. Pics cause they change so quickly.....go to the internet and type in take 2 talent and read the reviews
