Maybe u should go to the doctor and see what they say.
Are you breast feeding? Women who breast feed may have irregular or miss periods. Definitely do a pregnancy test. Depending on the method they used to tie your tubes, they are not 100% effective. You might also call your doctor, he may be able to prescribe something to get your cycles started if there are no other problems. Sometimes after childbirth, it takes a little bit for your hormones to get back in line.
Are you nurseing? I didn't get my frist period after giving birth for a full year, and I was told by my OBGYN that it was normal for nursing moms (I already knew that though because my mom was the same way!). Talk to your mom and ask her when she had her frist period after you were born. You might find that you will follow i the save foot steps as her biologically.
Every Post partum is different. After my first boy I went almost a year without a period. After my 2nd, I got pregnant when he was 4 months old. After my third I didn't had my period off and on while breastfeeding.
You're body probably hasn't ovulated yet. It's still trying to provide for the baby you have. If you ever had ovulation pains then when that comes back so will your period. Look out though, you could still get pregnant because you will ovulate first then have the period not the other way around. Make sure you aren't pregnant already, okay?
If you're worried I'd consult with your obgyn, but more likely than not it's totally normal. If you are or did breastfeed for any period of time that will affect your cycle. After both of my pregnancies My period didn't come back until my girls were 10mos old.
everybody is different, if it really bothers you see your OBGYN

The first question I would have is are you breastfeeding? That has alot to do with your period. I would also see your OBGYN you should be able to call a nurse and see what might be going on. Hope this helps.
are you nursing.. or did you for a short time??? That will cause a delay..
Alot of people will go many months even with out nursing.. If you are very worried do call dr.. they can give you provera... but that is not needed....
Give it another month or two.. Just enjoy it.... I think I was maybe 3 months almost 4.. I nursed for a month...
having your tubes tied will have a dealay in your period. if you don't start soon I would ask your doctor unless you are breastfeeding. my sister breastfed and it toook her almost 5 months to have one so hang in there and like I say if you are real concerend just call and ask your doctor.
GOOD LUCK
Kathy
Hi A., I have been wondering the same thing. I have 3 kids, the youngest is 3 1/2 months, I had my tubes tied during my c-section. I still haven't had a period either. I have been concerned because I've had cramping like I may start, but then nothing. I wish I could be of more help, but maybe we'll both get some answers.
