Every pregnancy is different! I felt like I was about a month or two ahead of what I actualy was with my last. Turns out this was a girl and my other two preg. were boys. So maybe that was it? Who knows. I also had a thrid trimester that lasted forever and then contraction that would feel like the real thing, but when I would go in they were not making me diate. I ended up getting induced in the end. If you have more children your next preg. will most likely totaly different then your other two! Good luck and congrats!

by the time I was six weeks pregnant I was miserable. I was 37 then. I think it's harder on you as you get older. The good news is that there is an end in sight even if it is nine months away.

rememebr this "the first trimester of pregnancy is equal to walking up a mountain each and every day for those first months." Once my doc told me that, it made it all clear. I was so exhausted and could barely breathe on my first trimesters. It was hell, expect a hellish pregnancy lol

Its probably just your body adjusting to the hormones and feeling really bloated. Eat well, exercise and get plenty of rest. You should feel better soon. If not, place a call to your OB to get quick check.

I might check with your doctor, though tiredness is normal in the first trimester, the other symptoms sound concerning.

BTW, I was pregnant with my daughter at 40 and, other than the tiredness during the first phase, felt absolutely great through the rest of the pregnancy. Age alone should not be an issue.
