I had my Mirena IUD removed today & in my posts over the last 2 weeks I had been very nervous about the pain, thankfully it was very quick & didn't hurt at all. But, I didn't bleed afterwards and I'm still not bleeding and it's passed midnight. Is that normal if I'm not bleeding? I am just curious because I read online in many places of women who bled afterwards. I feel a little crampy here and there, but for the most part I think I'm okay.
I never bleed when I had mine removed. Just crampy and that was all. Completely normal and then conceived 3 months later
I had mine taken out 5 weeks ago and still no bleeding whatsoever. I went to the doctor and he said sometimes it just takes a while for your body to adjust. Good luck!

I didn't bleed at all when I had mine removed. Just slight cramping here and there.
I think this is normal; I don't remember bleeding right after I had the Mirena taken out. I do remember having very heavy periods afterwards for my first two cycles, though, so be prepared for that possibility. Good luck!
I am glad to hear it went well! Its not uncommon to not bleed right away. Since you are having cramping, you may bleed a little tomorrow or in a day or two. Some people bleed and some don't either way, its normal. Take a little ibuprofen if you are experiencing any discomfort. Take care, Molly
I didn't bleed when I had mine removed (just when I had it put in). I started my period about 3 days later and conceived a couple of weeks after that! No need to be concerned.
Not sure, I need to get mine to taken out soon, but I would not be concerned.
