Has anyone stayed at one of these places, an indoor waterpark resort? I am thinking about it for a mini vacation, my daughter is 7 years old, she loves waterparks. There is one right in New Jersey, Mount Laurel? but I am willing to travel to one in a neighboring state if it's a really awesome nice one. Which one did you go to and what would you rate it? What are some other good minivacation ideas in the northeast?
Groupon Getaways has specials for the Great Wolf Lodge with indoor waterpark in several locations. Looked like fun to me when I saw them. Have fun!
We have been to great wolf lodge with our four year old and all our friends and their kids twice. I highly recommend it! A little pricey but worth it. The adults went on all the water slides too and had a blast!
A good friend told me that Great Wolf Lodge is great and they have gone there a few times. I have never been, but it sounded like fun. Might be worth researching. They went to the one in the Poconos.
Another great place to take her is the New Jersey Aquarium, also known as Adventure Aquarium. It's not a water park, but it is AWSOME. We spend the whole day there util they closed. There was just so much to see.
We have been to Coco Key in Waterbury CT. Not sure what the resort is near you in NJ. I know they have one in MA too. It was fun, but not that large, and OMG it was loud, loud loud. So I personally wouldn't want to go there for more than a day. I bet a child would like it for 2 days.
CoCo Key in Waterbury Conneticut!!!!!!! It is awesome. look up their website and register that way. They have deals for the hotel, water park, aschade and even food packages and is cheaper than booking it all seperate. We were just there december 27th to 29th and had an awesome time. My kids are 3, 6 and 11 and my husband and I had a blast too! Hint: rent a frig ($10 extra) and bring stuff for breakfast and stuff for sandwiches for lunch and eat in your room, will save a LOT of money! Just don't forget disposible cups, bowls, plates and plastic wear! Also the food in the in house restaurant is delicious and great portions and decent prices.
I agree, Great Wolf Lodge was wonderful when we went. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and the kids were never bored!
