I have been on the mini pill since September and I have been having horrible headaches. When I bend over my head just throbs. This is a daily occurence and is really starting to wear on me. I have been taking one Excedrine Migraine in the morning and one in the afternoon to help it out. When I wake up in the morning some mornings it is all I can do just to get myself out of bed. I have decided to stop taking the pill when this pack runs out to see if this is my problem.

Has this happened to any one else? I am afraid that I am getting addicted to caffine and I really don't want this. I don't drink soda, tea or coffee so other than chocolate I do not get much caffine and I want to keep it that way.

Please help any suggestions would be great.

O yes, I do have a massage scheduled on the 25th to see if that will help out and I am counting down the hours until then.

What can I do next?

I would make a call to your doctor/OB GYN and talk it over with them. It could be the pill... also could be a sinus infection if you have a stuffy noise, but morethenlikely it is the pill.

I don't remember the headaches, BUT when I switched back to the pill, I wasn't aware that there is a window of opportunity to become prenant again... 9 mos later, we had a wonderful baby boy - just 16 mos younger than his older sister... be careful : )

YES!! I thought I had a brain tumor!!! My head would explode every time I bent over. Finally, the subject of meds came up, and BCPs were the culprit. Talk to your doctor for another method, or at least another med. Good luck---life is miserable with constant headaches.
