My boys downloaded it this summer and I paid to get the full version-something like $27-but that was a one time fee. If they come out with new levels etc, it should be included.

They are 12 and 11 and love it. It does look like moving legos to me.

Also, we were talking to someone at Best Buy about it and he played too and was probably in his early twenties so it has range-but a safe range. He was talking about a cannonball for his watermelons-lol.

My 7th grader downloaded it online. We were having problems with our computer this summer so when we took it in for repair I specifically asked if Minecraft causes any problems on the computer and they said NO. I have mixed feelings about it for other reasons, but it does seem to be a clever game.

My daughter's friends have it so she plays with them, but one family has gotten rid of it because it took up too much computer memory or something like that. If you play entirely online, it doesn't make sense that it would consume memory, but they did get rid of it because it kept doing something to their home computer. Just something to be aware of.

My grand kids play in on my phone, when hubby lets them use his phone they play on his.

Now that I let hubby buy the game for $6, or close to that, he can "host" them and with my old phone and my new phone they can all 3 play at the same time.

Now that's what I call a quiet evening.....
