Well like what? My son just turned 2 in dec., he is talking in 2-3 word sentences any more than that you cant understand what he says, LOL!! Which is normal. He is starting to count with me, say his colors when i tell/show him a color. What is it that you are expecting or think is or is not normal?
My daugther turned two in October and I noticed that her vocabulary has expanded. i noticed that she also wants to do everything pretty much by herself. She realizes emotions by facial expression. She knows that went you sneeze you say bless you and that when you hurt someone to say sorry. She uses please and thank you. If you have any doubts just talk tour doctor I am sure they would give you a heads-up on what normal and what is not...
early 2? count to 5 walk talk throw a call... late 2 use sentences run kick a ball catch a ball mimic things you draw circle square ect count to at least 10
My daughter turned two in Feb, she can say 3 or 4 word sentences, count until 13, knows her colors, shapes, can do puzzles, recognizes some letters, can sing few songs (eventhough it's not 100% correct)...etc Every kid reaches different milestones at different times. Some are physically more advanced, others are more advanced in speech... If you are worried, you should talk to you pediatrician. Here's a list of a typical two year old development:
- Climbs up steps alone, one step at a time holding the stair rail or the parent's hand.
- Jumps off the floor with both feet.
- Opens doors.
- Kicks a ball.
- Can wash and dry hands.
- Climbs on furniture.
- Uses a spoon and cup well.
- Asks frequent questions: "What is that?"
- Enjoys imitating adult activities.
- Two year olds often go through a short period of mild speech abnormalities (like stuttering).
- Selects and uses a toy appropriately (feeds a doll, hammers pegs in a cobbler's bench).
- Most 2-year-olds have a vocabulary of 50 or more words, although this number varies with the sex of the child (girls speak more than boys), if the child has older siblings (who will speak for him or her) or if two languages are spoken in the house.
im not being rude but wasnt the question what are the expectations of a two year old not to tell what your 2 yr old does or compare 2yr old heres what ur looking for
