We haven't attended church since we moved here, and I was wondering if someone knows of a family oriented Methodist church in the area. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I'm a member of a Cornerstone Free Methodist Church in Coventry. It is a wonderful family oriented place with a great Sunday School program. They have 4 services on Sunday & 1 on Wednesday. The first is very traditional, 2 & 3 are more comtempory and the evening is very rocked out. They have a website where you can come and check us out http://cornerstonefmc.org

They hold one of the areas largest Easter Egg Hunts on 4/7 and would love to invite you and your family to join us.

Hi K.,
Ok...so this is WAY past your original posting however I do have an excellent church to recommend to you (if your even still looking) NewPointe Community Church is a free-methodist church in Sugarcreek that my family & I have been attending for almost 1-1/2 years now and all I have to say is that is a GREAT church. I can honestly say that I have never been so moved by a church as I have been with this one. We live in Canton near the H.O.F. and I willingly make the 1/2hr drive every Sunday because it is well worth it! Take a look at the web-site (www.newpointe.org) they have the services online 'live' each Sunday that you can watch...but there is nothing like seeing it "in person". I have a blended family that range in age from 18yrs old to 8yrs old and they ALL love it. My 8yr old son has been the best testimonial for me...he went from "Mom do I HAVE to go to church" (at our old church) to "Mom why is church only once a week?" That speaks WORLDS to me when it comes to a church. also if you go on you-tube and search for "newpointe" there are several videos from the main services and also the Kidstuf program...ok, I've rambled enough...hope you take a look, you won't regret it!

Steph

I am not familiar with any methodist churches, but I began attending Grace Bretheren Church on Ghent Road in Bath, Ohio about 15 months ago (my background is baptist) and absolutely love it there. The congregation is very warm and open-hearted and the pastor gives very down to earth ministry. They also have a branch on Cleveland-Massillon Road in Norton. They have excellent childcare and Sunday School.

I attend Faith United Methodist Church on 9th Street in North Canton. It's a wonderful church with active youth programs. The services are 8:30, 9:30 and 10:45. I like the 9:30 service because it's "contemporary". I have two young girls (7 and 4), so the less formal attire and "cool" music work well for us. Check out the website at faithumchurch.org
