Does anyone know where to get metal hangers for dirt cheap of for free? Were doing a garage sell next week and I would like to hang up the clothes but not use my hangers (people seem to want to take those!)
I used to work at Village Cleaners and they had a place where people could recycle their hangers and others could take them. I'd call some dry cleaners near you, or go to a village cleaners, the one I worked at is on 7000 south and 2300 east, in Cottonwood Heights.
Old Navy has plastic hangers--in kids and adult sizes. You can just go to a store and pick them up for free. (That's what my friend did.) Good luck with your garage sale!

There is a website called Freecycle where you post items that you would like to get rid of or are in the need of for FREE. It a way of keeping items out of the landfill and helping people out too. I think they keep them in the back room at Deseret Industries for just such occasions. Ask there.
