Merry Christmas to all the mommas out there.
Do you have any special Christmas traditions you do every year?

What can I do next?

Merry Christmas C.!! Our Christmas Traditions have changed through out the year as we have gone from parents to young children to grandparents of little ones...This is the first year that none of our children have been home for Christmas Day...so we will be starting new traditions of just spending the day together...my husband and myself...and finding new ways to make the day meaningful. We are a story in progress!!!

My mom has always made little smokies in crescent rolls at Christmas and only on Christmas. This year, I did the same for my family of 3. Husband loved them. Son did too. And it was a quick and easy breakfast to much on while opening gifts. So this is our first year as our small family to do such breakfast, but I think it'll be an easy traditional breakfast to have each year.

Merry Christmas to you too, C.! I'm helping my mom look online at how to use the Slice-O-Matic I bought her. I really hope it works like it does on TV to help her more easily slice vegetables! The regular knife hurts her hands now.

Not really a tradition, but it's why I'm on the computer now!

Have a great day!

Merry Christmas C.!

In our family we open one gift the night before. Then christmas morning, we open gifts as a family and eat breakfast after. We go to christmas eve church service the night before and then we go spend the day together as a family on christmas. Have a blessed day.

Merry Christmas C.!
We have a few traditions. Every year we each get a new ornament for the tree that has something to do with something that happened in our life this year. (For example my daughter had her first riding lesson this year so she got a little girl on a horse ornament). Also, my daughter gets a new pair of Christmas pjs every year that she wears to bed on Christmas Eve. I also put a piece of fruit in everyone's stocking (usually an apple or pear). Those are traditions I have carried on from when I was a child. Then, about 5 years ago we didn't want to do a traditional dinner so we decided to have ribs and it just stuck. Some years we do traditional sides, or we do typical BBQ food (potato salad, coleslaw, etc). We also never go anywhere on Christmas Day. Christmas Eve (my birthday) we go to my family's to celebrate and then on New Year's Day we go to the in- laws (the whole family on that side gets together once a year) but Christmas Day we stay home, hang around in our pjs, watch movies, cook, play with our new stuff and just be the three of us. It's the best day of the year.

Merry Christmas to you too. Though I don't do something special. I provide clothes from my boutique to few kids with special needs. This is the way I celebrate Christmas every year.
