I am not sure what point I need to see my doctor. But I am a 38 year old mom of 2 boys. My period started January 10th and it was a normal period. However, it should have ended around the 14th but it has been continuous and only what I can describe as being on the final day of my period for the last week. Its basically when I wipe I see a little blood and there has been a clear mucus like discharge (almost like ovulation). However, there is blood as well but very light. I have no other syptoms at all. Any feedback would be so helpful.

Thank you

Contact your Ob/GYN. You may have an infection - or your hormones may be changing.

Since you aren't bleeding through a pad in an hour, I wouldn't rush to the ER - if you bleed through a pad in one hour - that is bad - light blood? I would talk with them, tell them how long it has been and see if they want to see me.

Good luck!!

Your hormones could be wacky & you are ovulating early.

Could be peri-menopause...
My mom started this in her 30s, and her periods were just wacky for a long, long time. (I'm 35...so I can't wait! LOL.)

They'd get closer together...then further apart....then she'd bleed for weeks at a time...then no period for months, etc...
The older she got, the worse it got until it all finally stopped.
