I have a memory foam topper that cost 200 and really like it. But, the best thing would probably be for you to sleep with a pillow between your legs or under your knees. I recommend a body pillow.
I am currently 13 weeks pregnant, and already having horrible lower back pain, especially when I wake up. I believe this is due to sleeping on a very firm mattress. Unfortunately I am not able to afford a whole new mattress right now, but I am able to spend a bill or 2 on a really good mattress topper. Does anyone have any experience with mattress toppers? Which was the best/worst

We just bought the memory foam 4in mattress topper. It is a Martha Stewart brand. Sold at Macy's or online. Saved us from buying a 4000 dollar mattress. I used a Macy's coupon and it was under 300 dollars. We have had it for 3 months.. Now my back and husbands back feel great.. Love the memory foam so supportive.. We have had feather beds in the past but no as comfy or supportive as memory foam

As Laurie mentioned, I used a pillow in between my knees and that relieved a good amount of back pain. I do also have a down feather mattress topper that I always loved. My husband claimed the feathers poked him too much so it is off the bed. I still use it when we have company and add it to our futon for extra cushion. Try the pillow first, then spend the money.... oh, and make sure it is a good sturdy pillow. Not some mushy flim flam pillow where you can to still feel your knees touching! :o)
Not sure if a topper will help, but a body pillow and a good firm pillow between your legs should help..
Also roll up a towel.. like a hand sized town.. not a wash cloth.. Roll it up and while sleeping on your side, place that towel under your waist. It will help give you support. The pillow between your legs will help your back stay stable.. and the body pillow is a way to help rest your arms and ankles.
Try to sleep on one side and then the other. The larger you become, the more you will need to keep all of that circulation going.
