Sara at Sean David Salon (Shops at Legacy) is awesome. Again...not cheap but so worth it! She is amazing with color and cuts!
Well its been about 6 months since I have had my hair done (due to the birth of my daughter) and I am really getting depressed about how bad it looks! I had been going to someone here in Plano but eveytime my hair looks worse and worse. I would really like to find someone who can do really good blonde highlights at a reasonable price..not working right now so money is tight. I kinda feel like I don't look as good anymore since the baby and I really would like to get my hair done just so I'll feel better about myself! I'm sure everyone can all relate to that! If anyone knows of anyone great I can go to here in Plano let me know. Thanks so much!
Just wanted to tell eveyone thank you! I really appreciate the time you took to help me. I have made an appointment to finally get my hair done so I'm looking forward to it! Hopefully it turns out great..and if not I have a long list of other stylists I can choose from! Thanks Everyone!!

Heather Melton ###-###-#### she is at 15th and Custer and she is awesome!
I put out the same request a few months ago. I received several very good referrals. I tried one; but, it wasn't what I was seeking. I then tried Heather and I've been nothing but pleased. I had looked for a stylist for 3 years. My previous hairdresser of 15 years decided to stay home and raise her little one. While I supported her decision, I truly agonized as to what I would do without her. It appears that I now have Heather.
Good Luck! I know what a trial this can be.

I love Troy O'Neil at Troy Richard Salon. he is amazing!! Not sure what his prices are for highlights but he does the Miss Plano and Miss Frisco titleholders for Miss Texas and he works magic. You will love him! www.troyrichardsalon.com ###-###-####
I went to him because I volunteer for the Miss Plano Frisco Organization and all of the ladies who go to him I just love their hair....I let him have the freedom to do whatever he wanted to with my hair and I have never liked it more! Wish I would have known about him years ago!
I go to a lady named Sun Baskett - ###-###-####. She is at the Salon boutique at Plano Parkway and Chapel Hill Blvd. by Willow Bend Mall, in the same stip mall as Michaels and Office Depot. She charges $125.00 for cut, color and highlights and style. The first time I went to her she spent over 2 hours with me - so prepare to be gone for a bit, she chats A LOT, but, I am happy with my hair and my husband likes it too :). She also does great kids cuts!

I get my blonde highlights at Tony Cao Salon in Frisco. My girls name is Monica. They are right there at Preston and 121 so if you are in Plano, that is very convienent. I am VERY picky and like my hair color a certain way and the first time I went in, she blew me away!! I believe that partial highlights are $75 and full is $95. I pay $40 for a haircut, blow dry and style!! She is awesome. The website is www.tonycaosalon.com
Good luck!!

HI J., I so understand where you are coming from and can recommend someone to you. His name is Scott Combest and he is at the Salon Boutique across from the Shops at Willow Bend. He is incredible with color. I do not have his number handy but if you call Salon Boutique they can either connect you or give you his number. I think the key is not to highlight everytime and Scott is def. a master colorist. He is a family man and just a good guy! Blessings, J.
Unfortunately, good highlights usually come with a price. :-(
I can recommend Mari Turner at Visible Changes in Collin Creek Mall for good work, but it will not be your least expensive option. Good luck!
I go to Jennifer Farris at Salons Unique at 1301 Custer, Suite 482. This is the southwest corner of 15th and Custer by the Tuesday Morning. I have known her for over ten years and she is so reasonable in her prices. Her cut & style is $20 and her full foil highlights are $65. She is really good and aims to please you. I have asked her many times why she doesn't go up on her prices and she just comments that she hates to and that most all her patrons tip her well. Anyway, I just love her and you can't beat her prices.
I go to Valerie Thom at The Hair Boutique - off George Bush at Jupiter (behind Silver Fox restaurant). She does a great job. Her number is ###-###-####. If you go, tell her I referred you - you should get 10% off.
My former nanny is a hairdresser and she can come to your home to do yours. Her name is Marie, ####-###-####. She never did my hair (I am black and she does only caucasian hair) so I can't recommend her work itself but she is diligent and she will come to you.
