Ok - I'm trying to find different options for getting the kids pictures taken besides the mall and superstore places. A friend of a friend goes to some place in Flower Mound. It is at a persons house who apparently has a studio in his home. The photographer charges a session fee then uploads the pictures to kodak.com and the client can just log on and order whatever pictures they want from Kodak.com which is really inexpensive. Has anyone heard of this? I'm not having any luck getting in touch with the friend of the friend.

I just had my baby's photos taken a few weeks ago. This lady charges only by the session and gives you the cd, so that you can e-mail, print, or whatever you want to do with them...she just signs the copywright over to you. The charge is only $80.00. She took some amazing photos of my little girl. I was very impressed, and will defintely use her again. She took ours at the arboretum, but I think she will go to any location. Cindy Mills came to my house for my son's 1yo portraits. Her website: www.cindymillsphotography.com. She is amazing. Don't worry about artificial poses, she will literally chase them around with her camera to get the perfect shot! She will meet you at any location you choose. All of our shots were taken in our home. She came up with things I would have never thought of: On the pool table, in the flower bed, etc. She's alot of fun and very professional.

I used portraitsbyclairine.com She is in Frisco with a atudio at her house. She charges $60, no session fee. You leave with a CD of all pictures taken. We had 105- they are toooo cute!

Although she's not inexpensive, I HIGHLY recommend Kimberly Wylie Photography: http://www.wyliephotography.com.
She does BEAUTIFUL black & white "portraitures" of your little ones (and/or family.) Her studio is in the Uptown area of Dallas and will do indoor or outdoor pictures, whichever you prefer. And, she and her partner, Jessica, just have a knack for capturing the pure essence of a child.
I'm having some inexpensive shots of my baby done elsewhere, but plan on using Kimberly for some of the bigger milestone shots as they really are high-quality...more of a piece of art than a snapshot to capture those special moments in time that are all-too-fleeting with our young 'uns!

How about Portrait Innovations at Park & the Tollway? I got some pics taken there a few months ago and they were fantastic. I got a ton of pics, plus a cd w/ all the pictures on it ( even the ones I didn't buy ) for a very reasonable price. PM me if you'd like to see some examples.
