I have a frigidare glass top oven with warming burner and "speed bake" and I love it. The speed bake feature is a must have it's a convection oven.
Our samsung fridge is really good but I don't know about their ovens.
Hey moms ! I am in the market for a new electric stove. I have been using 3 burners for a while and the knob broke for the last big burner ...so moms kitchen is temporarily disabled. Anyway been comparing brands on internet, consumer reports, etc... anywhere i can get a review i get mixed reviews on almost every brand. ??At this point deciding from samsung and whirlpool. MY prices range is $450 to about $650. Looking at electric glass top. Nothing to high tech. My husband thinks whirlpool but i am not sure
any opinions ?

I just got a GE supplied to me for the price of an Amana (Home Depot screwed up), and I'm really happy with it. It's got all the features I want, it's easy to clean on top and self-cleaning inside. I particularly like the black burner pans --can't get them all burnt and grungy like the silver ones.
I don't know how much ours cost but we have a Jenn-Air glass top and love it! I went from an electric cook top to this and it made it so much easier to switch. It has 4 burners, with one being an extra large double burner. The stove is easy to use and has many settings for roasting, warming, etc. I know it wasn't a brand you had in mind but thought I would let you know we love ours!
I have a GE Profile ceramic top "drop in"stove and love it! We installed it ourselves and it dropped right into my island as one piece. It has great burner selection (2 small, 2 large, and 1 extra large) and the panel for the oven is very easy to use. I have it in black, and its hard to keep clean, it always looks like its got a smear on it.
I have a cooktop and it is by Kitchen Aid. I love the Kitchen Aid products.
I'd steer cear from GE Profile and Maytag. We've had very bad experiences with both of those brands of appliances.
I have a Whirpool that came with the house. I dont' cook enough honestly b/c I'm not a cooker but it hasn't been horrible. It's my first experience with an electic stove (I prefer gas but we don't have natural gas here). It's older.
I was recently searching for Frig, washer and dyer and found many sources that said the Whirlpool/Maytag brand was headed down hill/the wrong direction. I bought a Maytag frig anyways and it's pretty nice in itself. No issues.
