Hi, I live in Providence and am having a hardtime finding a nice, Mom friendly park in Providence to take my 9 month old daughter.

What can I do next?

I take my 4 year old to Deerfield Park in Smithfield. It's right off of RT 44. It is big, quiet and safe. The park is seperated into two-one for small children and one for the bigger kids. We love it-and a lot of stay at home moms go there-very mom friendly.

Hello,

There a few on the east side. There is one the everyone seems to call the baby park on Humbolt street, shaded and people leave their toys there for anyone to play with. There is another one at the Jewish community center (behind)on Sessions Street. Geared a little bit more toward older kids but they have baby swings and everyone seems to be very friendly. Hope these options help connect you to other moms.

Hi S.-I don't know how far away you are from the JOhnston area, but there is a great mom friendly park there. It is right on Hartford Ave-near Hurd Automotive Group. There are great play areas and its a great place to walk too. Enjoy!

Did you try the playground at Roger Williams Park. It is located near the carosel. They have an area designated for younger children and it was built by Hasbro. It is really great for kids of all ages. I bring my two young boys there. They always have a blast.

Hi S.,
Why don't you try the "baby park" on Humboldt Street on the East Side. It is well enclosed, has lots of toys, and shade. From 195 E, take the Gano St. exit, right on Gano, left on Wayland, through the traffic light, right on Humboldt Steet. Humboldt St. is one or two streets after the light at Angell. Hope to see you there! My name is L., I have two boys--6 mo. & 23 months. I've got black hair and the boys are blonds w/blue eyes.

Hi S.~ If you haven't already discovered it, you may ck out the playground @ Roger Wm's park (near the carousel), there's an little area just for the little ones.

There is also a park @ the boulevard on the East Side that's cute.

Good luck :D
