My 22 month old has never had a real haircut and I am looking for someone in the Riverview/Brandon area. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks everyone for the suggestions!! I am going to try the Shortcuts first because my mother also mentioned it. However, I am going to keep the others in mind once we get through the first cut.
If you ever make it out to the South Tampa area, go to Shortcuts at International Mall. It's super cute - they have different little cars, airplanes, barbie jeeps for the kids to sit in, with t.v's at each station where they always have a kids movie playing (Nemo, etc.). It's a very kid-friendly environment (clouds on the ceiling, toys, books)...and of course, the highly coveted lollipop when it's all over!
I take both my kids (now 8 and 2) to Gina Wolff at Hair Studio 1225 (1225 W. Brandon Blvd) ###-###-####. She had done both my children since they were barely one year. She is great with kids (and adults).
I don't know if they are still in business or not, but I have heard great things about Cookie Cutters on Causeway in the shopping center by Babies R Us.
We really like Great clips on Bloomingdale ave/Providence behind McDonald's...
We use Carrie and a few other girls in there...nice to kids and not too expensive
PS: I also use Carrie (she is great) and I have saved a lot of money since I switched.
Go to Kings Barber Shop on US Highway 301 South in Riverview. ###-###-#### They are diagonally accross from Lake St. Charles. They are a family owned business and have been in the area for years. Barbara is really great with kids and she has been cutting my sons hair since he was a baby.
