Hello Again. I am once again looking for Christams Spirit from anyone willing to help. I am a preschool teacher and a single mother. Most of my students come from single parent low income homes. And I would like to make this Christmas special for them. I would also like to take this time to thank all the Mamasource members that helped out last year. The children loved it and the parents cried. And I would like to give a special thanks to Channing and her friends and family. I am starting early this year, so I can give everyone who can help an advance notice. If you are willing and able to help please respond asap, because Christmas will be here before we know it. Also, if anyone would like to donate food or grocery store gift certificates for Thanksgiving or Christmas, they will help just the same. The school is located in Berwyn, IL. and their ages range from 3 1/2 to 8 years old. Any one interested can respond to this request and I will email their Christmas Lists. This request will be updated every couple of weeks until every child has been picked...

I too am a single mom and this would be a great opportunity for me to befriend other people as well as to feel good about doing something that makes a difference in the lives of others. Please let me know what sort of help you are looking for, as my husband, our new son, and I would love to share our love of Christmas and whatever we can with the families' lives that you touch.
Our little one is 5 months old and I am starting back to work after Thanksgiving for 2 days a week, so let me know what it is you would find helpful. If it is time, resources, or gathering more support from other families please let me know. I am starting a couple play groups so I am coming in contact with some other families who also may be willing to help in some way.

I am always trying to instill in my children how important it is to help others. We pull names off the trees in church and the stores and buy gifts for the needy children every year.
