I am thinking of becoming a herbalife consultant. How hard is it to get a downline if you do the downline on your own without paying for their mediashare?

What can I do next?

hi
i hope i answer your question is not so hard get a downline because a lot of people prefer get in the business because they want to buy the product a discount price .How it works for me is 1 person buy from you she like the products se use it everyday that person maybe want to become consultant because of the discount ,so that person recommend the products to another person and go on ...the more people you have in your downline the better check you receive.

M.,
You may want to look at some other companies and compare them before you make up your mind. Compare the start up costs, how much you have to purchase every month, the percentage paid on downlines etc. Does the company have any peer-reviewed published research? These are questions you will have to anwer as you try to find others to join you.
Also spend some time thinking about why you want to do a home based business. Do you have a passion for nutrition and helping people? If not, you may want to look into something else. I can direct to some that my friends do that aren't nutrition based.
I am with the number one seller of natural supplements. We also have the best paying compensation plan (this is per outside sources.) We are also owned by a multibillionaire so we have plenty of money for science based research that allows us to have cutting edge products that other companies can't duplicate. One other piece of advice. If you do go with a MLM, don't try to recruit people away from another one they are already in.
Good luck. I hope you find the company that is best for you.

M., I hope you get people who actually know the answer to your very specific question instead of Shaklee and Melaleuca trying to sway you to their companies like the other posters have done. I am getting so disappointed in the moms on here who are trying to build their businesses based on these questions.

I looked into herbalife and it did not work for me. WAY too expensive. I found something SO much better! Less expensive and healthier!
