Have you tried looking into a Gymboree class or a toddler/mommy gymnastics class? Also, JCPRD usually has activities for toddlers and parents you can call them or look online. You can also try a kindermusic group, look up a MOPS group or try matchingmoms.com. There you can find playgroups in your area. I've done MOPS before and it's great.

alot of the churches have MOPS groups and I know when my kids were little it was a great time to bond with other moms, make new friends and the kids had a great time playing and doing activities. Most of the groups meet twice a month and then have activities outside the group during the week. I would call some churches in your area and ask if they have a group or know of one. Good Luck!

Hi C.!
Your welcome to a few of us for a girls night out on teh 27th of this month... I posted a while ago in regards to it and several (over 13) have responded from Mammasource. I moved in September and wasn't meeting people as readily as I'd hoped, so I thought "what better way to meet other moms than a girls night out". Anyway, you are welcome to come... if you are interested, please let me know (____@____.com) and I'll send you the evite with directions on where to meet and all the other stuff. Take care!

I would look into some Mommy and Me groups. They have a website to help put you in contact with the local playgroups. Parents As Teachers also sponsors play groups and does early child development testing for free. Parents as Teachers also have Parent resource centers that are available to you. The Johnson County Libraries are another great resource to investigate. Hope this helps.
