I am 7 months pregnant and looking for a good pediatrician that goes to Southcrest Hospital. My 2 older boys are temporarily going to the OU Med. Centr. because of a lapse in insurance due to hubby changing jobs, but we just got new insurance so I am needing to change them also. Any advice on who you like, or even don't like? I have a few months to look around, and really want to make the best decision for all the kids.
Our ped is Dr Sanjiv Sood at Birth and Beyond but he is not affiliated with Southcrest, but his wife is, and she is also very good. Her name is Dr Alka Sood, the number for the office is ###-###-####. u can check their website at www.doctorsood.com. I hope u find this very helpful. good luck!

I'm surprised you haven't gotten many responses to this. I have to tell ya, Dr. John Knippers at South Tulsa Pediatrics (91st & Memorial) is WONDERFUL. I drive all the way from Claremore with my 2 1/2 yr old and 9 mo old just to go to him. I tried interviewing others closer to where we live but no one beats him. He's very funny and personable and the kiddos just eat him up. I would recommend an interview with him so you could get a feel for his practice. It's a very nice office too and the staff is friendly :) Hope this helps...
