Looking for a Nice Park for 3Rd Birthday Party

I am looking for a park to have my daughter's 3rd birthday party at. Preferably in the Park Cities or North Dallas area. I really like Curtis park in UP, but I would like to go somwhere that has a pavillion or grouped picnic tables by the playground, so everyone is not so spread out. Also, I would like to go somewhere that does not have a lake or stream close by. Thanks!

What can I do next?

I would suggest Preston Hollow Park on Thackery and Park. I think he has everything you need. There is a pavillion, large field, and climbing stuff for all ages.

have you been to Scottish rite downtown? Nice pavilion, great playground. Only downside is that the streets around it are under construction.
Also you can look at the Dallas park district website to see which parks have pavilions.

Preston Hollow Park is the BEST! It has covered picnic tables and the whole play area is shaded by trees. It's great for all age kids and is really cheap to reserve.

Scottish Rite allows you to reserve their pavillion and they set up chairs and tables for you for free. The playground is completely enclosed and there are clean restrooms as well.

I just went to a birthday party at a park on Thackery and Park Lane. It has a nice pavilion, lots of open areas, and good playground equipment near the pavilion. There were roughly 20 kids ages 2 to 6, and everyone had a good time.

Try Thackery Park on Park Lane and Thackery.

If Richardson isn't too far for you to go...there is a great shaded park with a large pavilion close to my house. It's at Braeburn & Plano Rd. I thas fairly new playground equipment and there are restrooms closeby.

Lindsley Park has one of the nicest, biggest pavilions I've seen, and the playground is nice, too. It's in the Gastonwood/Coronado or C-Streets area.
