My son will be 19 months at the end of the month and it is time for his 1st hair cut. I live in Vista and was wondering if anyone could recommend a kid friendly salon.
Kids Cuts in Escondido - they are great. They have a cartoon movie playing and have lots of toys and lollipops. It's right by Toys R Us off of the 15 freeway. Good luck!
We have been going to this new place in Carlsbad. It is called Adventure Cuts! Amazing place. Totally for kids, both boys and girls. Each chair (or porshe or barbie car) is it's own individual area. With murals and flat screen TV. They play a move of the kids choice! Also, kids get a balloon when they leave and get to get a toy from their treasure box. I've seen many kids cry for the first time, but NEVER there! I think it has to do with the TV and keeping them still. It is like Disneyland of haircuts...

we LOVE 'Cuts for Little People' in Oceanside - it run by a single man so sometimes you go and he's just run out for his lunch or to the bathroom and you have to wait a min. for him to come back, but it is EVERYONE we have recommended the place to have said they had a good experience - he very gentle and kind and can cut hair in any situation, once he cut my sons hair while he was asleep - i just held him - he not phased by wiggles or crying - I think he charges $15
